Knick-knacks
When I came home I couldn’t think of anything except from these knick-nacks I had stolen. I was afraid that police would find me and took me to prison. I decided to go to that shop and I bought some sweets and didn’t take any charge from 50 pounds banknote. I felt relieved.

When I got home, I couldn’t think about anything but those knick-knacks I had stolen. I was afraid the police was going to find me and take me (off) to jail. So I decided to go back to that same shop and buy some sweets, and didn’t take the change from a 50-pound note. I felt relieved.

would... take me to the prison
