What is more natural? Would every native speakers refuse from using such form?
It’s more natural to say WERE IT NOT FOR
Nobody would refuse to use your form, but it’s just not as common as this one.
Если бы не зуб, если б зуб не болел, если б не зубная боль, если б не этот чертов зуб, не болел бы зуб, не было бы зубной боли ... и т.д. Какой из этих вариантов более естественный?

Евгения, nobody would “refuse” to use it, people just wouldn’t use it in their speech. English is not as flexible as Russian, you can’t mess with the word order in a sentence like we do it in Russian.
