I was trying to say " Когда работаешь ( начиная ) со среды..." Maybe I don't quite understand the meaning of this phrase in Russian.
Когда ты вышел на работу в среду и осталось работать три дня

спасибо, именно так и имелось в виду
Margarita's translation is correct (although I prefer WORKDAYS). To put it into a more complete thought: "The week before your vacation seems endless - especially when you've been working since Wednesday and there are still three workdays left (to go)." Is this the basic meaning of the original Russian post?
As for me-yes! Especially when you have three days vacation, then you have to work and you're already sick and tired because you 're looking forward to the next one. 😳Thank you,Uly.
Good work, doll! And VERY good use of the perfect continuous 🎖
