What should I do?

"What do I do" is something you ask someone else or even yourself when you come to a point where you're uncertain what to do next. "What should I do" is something you ask someone else when you actually want their advice. I don't know which one applies here.

I had the second meaning in mind as I was writing that, but now I'm inclined to think they can both apply here.
