Thanks, Uly :)
Uly, is my translation incorrect?
Elena, it's not very good, but I'll explain why: (1) "none of the new systems" would refer to a concrete set of systems, but I think the original sentence refers to "new systems" in general. Therefore I prefer "no new system." (2) I believe идеальной here is better rendered as "perfect" (3) If you were going to use "just," it would have to go in front of the verb "can JUST become..." (4) if you were going to use "at once," it should be "ALL at once" in this context. We use "at once" in imperatives, like Russian немедленно. Having said all that, I hope you won't be discouraged by all this - you gave it a good try and you kind of explained to me what the Russian actually meant :)
A good expression to learn here is RIGHT OFF THE BAT - meaning right from the beginning. Galina's translation was 100% correct and idiomatic. Valery's was a close second.
Ok, thank you, Uly. Yes, I liked Galina's "right off the bat" )
А корректно так перевести: " None of the new systems can be perfect from the very beginning?"
Да, Максим, если речь о конкретных системах. Кстати, я послал тебе емейл три дня назад.
Валерий, у тебя все правильно. Right away не является идеальным выбором в этом контексте, но все-таки катит.
That works too
