added a comment 8 years ago

added a comment 8 years ago

Go google it before posting something like this. There are hundreds of explanations, including this one, for example: https://ru.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%93%D1%83%D1%81%D0%B8%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%8F_%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%B6%D0%B0
Your personal experience has nothing to do with the term in question. "Мурашки" is a common name for "гусиная кожа". That's how people call it.
And, of course, it's kinda lame to put thumbs down only in revenge. But you can keep doing this, I don't care. You see, I know my translations are correct. And I'm here to help people, not to confuse them even more with some fake statements which have nothing to do with the reality.

Oh, speaking of formication. It has absolutely nothing to do with "мурашки". Instead of reading some lame Russian translations of this term, you better go and read about it IN ENGLISH. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formication

As a native English speaker, I can assure you that I've never read or heard the terms JIM-JAMS and FORMICATION, the latter sounds like a medical term for GOOSEBUMPS!!!
