Woke up, fell out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up I noticed I was late

упал с кровати
fell from his/her bed
fell out of bed
fell off the bed
Woke up, fell out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up I noticed I was late

спасибо
In English, only people can fall OUT of bed (while sleeping), but anybody or anything can fall OFF a bed. Is there any difference in Russian, or can упал be used in both cases?
"Упал с кровати " в русском языке применяется и к людям, и животным и предметам. Кошка упала с кровати.
Спасибо, Зоя! Буду знать. И теперь ты знаешь разницу в английском))
I`ll keep it in mind. )
