"воспитанность" - это действительно примерно "хорошие манеры".
Но, вообще-то, в русском у слова "воспитание" более широкое значение, чем "привитие хороших манер".

Думаю, 'education' по смыслу - самое близкое слово в данном контексте.

I can assure you that education doesn’t work in this context. In English, education is what you get in school. 

If you tell someone that education starts at home, they immediately think of reading and writing and arithmetic.
