leben vs. wohnen! e.g. 1. Ich lebe in Berlin. 2. Ich wohne in Berlin. My teacher told that both versions are right and mean the same, so what is the difference???

The difference is that "wohnen" means usually "to live somewhere" (e.g. in der Stadt wohnen, bei seinen Freunde wohnen). And "leben" also means "to live" in general, to exist (e.g. frei leben). But the variants like "in Russland leben" or "bei seinen Freunde leben", "in der Stadt leben" are also possible.
