(ru-en)

Example: I used to have a car back when I was young, but then I got my driver license revoked, and then I just started using taxi. So I almost forgot how to drive.

get out of practice(?)

RUSTY implies that you can still do something relatively well, but not as well as before, and you'll need very little time to get back to your former proficiency. It's mostly used in reference to language proficiency, but not exclusively.

FALL INTO DISUSE is also a possibility, although this is most often used in reference to things left abandoned after people stop using them.
