Before using the Present Perfect — Look Around!
The present perfect is such a difficult concept to grasp that once you start to understand it, you want to use it! However, unfortunately, sometimes in our excitement to use it, we forget that it needs the right conditions in order to sound correct… the “perfect” environment! So before you use it, look around your sentence and make sure the conditions are right.

😂🤣😂 I just wanted to end with my dinner and ask you, Uly, about inviting Lena to SMISSLE.
I'm sorry but I didn't see any invitations. I'm a pretty rare and not too attentive visitor of my VK and FB. On weekly (or even more seldom sometimes) rather than on daily basis.
What are they for then? Just let them be )) To look at something or at someone sometimes...
So, Uly, I have no idea about any invitations. I'm going on VK now to find out where are they. Anyway, thank you. I'd like to join to the community.
Invitations are not found((
I've sent a request to SMISSLE (the Present Perfect again!)
The invitations were in the comments to a couple of your answers on here)) No problem - I’m glad you found us!
I didn’t MAKE THE 6:00 train
😊👍
make it to (somewhere)
First you MAKE THE 6:00 train, then, once you’re on the train, you MAKE IT TO the place you’re going. “Luckily, I made the 5am train, but I didn’t make it to the wedding because the train made an emergency 3-hour stop for repairs.”
ok, thanks!
