This is usually a response to a comment on how hard or well someone does something, and it implies "Don't be too impressed, that just how we do things around here" - with a certain pride bordering on arrogance, but always very self-assured: (A) Wow, you guys know how to throw a party! It's 4:30am and I don't even want to leave! (B) That's just how we roll in Miami, dude, have another drink.
[going to a friend's house to study together] (A) Wow! You're so quiet and unassuming in school, I never would've imagined you live in a house like this. How many rooms does it have? (B) Twelve - not counting the servants' quarters, the garages and the cabanas... Oh! and the movie theater. (A) Daaaaamn, man, now I know how you roll 😉 (=Вот черт, чувак, теперь я знаю, каков же ты! Днем ты робкий студент, а вечером богатый плейбой!)
[at work] (A) Oh my God, you finished a 23-page report in two hours??? What are you - a machine? (B) That's just how I roll, Jack, don't leave for tomorrow what you can knock off today.
(A) For your information, Gina and I just broke up. Oh, and she told me the whole time we were together, she was seeing your cousin Bruce and you knew about it. Some best friend! (B) Andy, please... I .. umm... (A) Save it, dude! Now I know how you roll.
[at work] (A) My paycheck is short. (B) Yeah, they didn't pay us for Friday. That's how these fuckers roll - they dock us one day of work every December to pay for the employee Christmas party. (A) So we pay for our own company party??
