Elena, that sounds like a business meeting. You can say "second anniversary of our having met"

When I was writing it, I was thinking "God, this is why Russians are so confused by the perfect!" It's such a strange looking construction, but it's very idiomatic.

We like perfect, I think we perceive it as closer for rendering perfective verbs 😁
