Aleh, I think you can do this better yourself:
кружок = (after school) study/hobby group/workshop/...
руководитель = tutor/teacher/...
студия детского творчества =~ small school / club / workshop /...

да вот "кружок" мне покоя не дает. ) Остальное для контекста. Пожалуй придется на "group" остановиться. Thank you for sharing your opinion!

It's worth adding that it's regular, not one-off, i.e. children are 'members' of this 'group'

Not sure about 'instructor', but otherwise sounds good.
After all, it's an instructor when it comes to driving and flying.
I like 'tutor' more, but don't take my word for this.

Yes, it does. Teacher is also good, but I avoid using it in here. Tutor is good for regular school subjects, Instructor is very neutral.
