Elena, get angry and get upset mean the same thing. I'm just giving an alternative.

Now we have all three: mad, upset and angry.

This sounds strange, to be upset=to be disappointed, this is how I was taught..

I just finished reading the best book I've ever read. It's called AZTEC by Gary Jennings and it's absolutely fascinating. The premise is that a council of Spanish catholic priests are "interviewing" an elderly Aztec about their civilization and ways, and he, in his turn, goes into every lurid detail of how they lived before the Spanish arrived, in a narrative about his own fascinating life. The English is very easy to follow because it doesn't have all that crazy slang that American writers are using now. it's a beautiful book if you can find it. Very long.
