WELL-TANNED just means that you have a regular tan, the normal color you achieve without burning. However, hear, I think it’s more than that. Does сильно imply that it’s more than just a regular tan and that the person is actually closer to a sunburn?

Zoya, we don’t say someone is TANNED, we just say TAN.

The thing is that there’s really no grade of tanning - you’re either tan or you’re pale. If you’re “overly tan,” you’re usually (sun)burnt, and if you’re less than tan, you have “good color” or you’re just pale. WELL-TANNED is usually a social statement about privileged people who don’t work and can lay around getting sun or play tennis at the country club while others have to work.
