This is a variant of PSYCHE! (Pronounced the same). It’s what children say to one another when they обманывают each other. Say one kid goes up to another with his hand closed and says “I’ll give you the dollar I have in my hand if you eat that earthworm over there.” The other kid eats the earthworm and waits for his dollar, but when the first kid opens his hand, there’s nothing but a rock and he laughs and says “Psyche!” / “Sike!” (=I tricked you!)
