По моему разумению, meant to be - звдумано, предназначено, суждено.
She's meant to be my wife - ей суждено / предначертано быть моей женой.
She is supposed to be my wife - предполагается (кем-то, кто нас знает), что она станет моей женой.
He's meant to do this job - он рождён для этой работы.
He's supposed to do this job - предполагается, что эту работу будет делать он.
What am I supposed to do now? - И что же мне теперь делать?

To me, they both mean more or less the same thing, but MEANT TO is a bit more British. For example and American will ask "Am I supposed to sign here?" and a more British version (or for Americans - just more formal) "Am I meant to sign here?"

Thank you, Uly. So my version of the difference is kind of exaggerated, right?
And how about the snippets, are they incorrect, and should I remove the comment?

I would say that the only difference between MEANT and SUPPOSED is when MEANT implies that it’s God’s will or something destined by fate, it sounds better than SUPPOSED.

That's what I meant! Song lyrics often contain "meant to be" as love or destiny sent from above.
