I still mourn the late David Bowie. Today he would have been 70 years young.
But today is also 84 years since Elvis Presley was born. I strongly recommend you to listen the next tune (Gordon Lightfoot's Early morning rain), which is a great rendition from Mr. Aaron:
Today, I thought a lot and found what condolence means.
It's the saddest thing to say goodbye to someone who you thought would be there all your life. Family, friends and also admired artists. This year I lost a dear friend, Leonard Cohen, Glenn Frey and David Bowie, too (not in a special order).
I can't but relate with the feelings of loss of the people who loved George Michael.
Goodbye, George. Thanks for the music!

They are my pals Tom and Jeremy. They are kinda homey guys. ;-)
Para los mexicanos que 'len'.
Yesterday, Mexican Minister of Education invited children to 'ler', then a student girl told him that the correct pronunciation was 'leer'.
Are you sure they will hear this way...?
Nevado del Ruiz
Thirty-one years ago today was one of the saddest days in Colombian coffee region.
On November 13th, 1985, the Nevado del Ruiz volcano had a major eruption. It had been active for a year long and it finally erupted violently.
But the eruptions on November 14th were far more destructive. It caused several mudslides and flows of lava from the crater. The ice in the volcano's summit melted and mixed with the other flows and hit the town of Chinchina and later the city of Armero.
Local geologists and from other countries were studying the activity of the volcano since several months before. They warned the authorities about the possibility of a very big eruption, but nothing was done.
Finally, the volcano exploded as they feared. There were more than twenty thousand people killed, though some say they were more than twenty-five thousand.
Omaira Sánchez was a thirteen year old girl from the city of Armero who was buried half her body in the wash from the volcano. Though they could reach, talk and stay with her, there was nothing they could do to save her and she passed away two days later.
The Nevado del Ruiz volcano is located in Central Colombia, between the Caldas and Tolima Departments, it is the northernmost of the Andes volcanoes belt.
Impresionante, ¿no creen?
Who'd say that old Leonard Cohen was ever to die.
Here is one of the most unlikely images (from L to R):
Paul Simon (hello darkness my old fiend), the man in his 81st birthday, Keith Richards (the Rolling Stones king of riff) and Chuck Berry (yes, he's still alive at 90).
I have always thought that Cohen and Simon, with Dylan are the biggest poets of folk-rock of their brilliant generation.
A most excellent answer.
