for me, i've got is like 'i have'. as the participle, it sounds a wee bit weird.

Well, I guess this one is the most distinctive difference between BrE and AmE :) To me "have gotten" is like an alarm or something :)
Do you know by the way that "a wee bit" is a 100% British expression? :))

really?)) i'm not positive bout that (that i knew), i learned it from some movie, i guess; perhaps, this movie was british)) English have one of the most beautiful and terrible accents at the same time. i like the Australian English (at least pronunciation).

Oh I think English accent is the best one ever :) Australian accent is very interesting indeed as well as South African. Oh I can talk accents for hours. I'm a real nerd about accents of English :))

it was a tragedy for me to get used to a way how British people pronounce the words because i simply couldnt understand them.)) American pronunciation was clear for me but this one was terrible.) it took me several months, i guess, to start getting their speech. but now i believe that their pronunciation is kinda awesome, and still i need subtitles when i watch british movies.)) But what i like the most is how the African-American people speak cos their English is way different from white people's English.

A tiny hint, Dmitry: "clear to me", not "clear for me" :) Same as "to me English accent sounds odd" or "to me you look terrific tonight" or "your way of expressing your thoughts is too harsh to me" and so on :)
