This is not a "gap", it's exactly what the dictionary says.
створ - somewhere I see it is translated as 'gap'. the dictionary version is 'target, alignment'... explain me please !
Все-таки,нужен контекст.Хотя бы одно предложение. 1. граничный створ-- boundary cross-section; boundary site 2. створ (как спортивный термин) --goal Футболист нанес удар в створ ворот.--The footballer had a shot at goal that struck the crossbar.
This is not a "gap", it's exactly what the dictionary says.
First meaning of Створ is a large Створка (for example, Створ(ка) ворот). In this sense Створ can be translated as "opening", which is not far from "gap". In special areas (construction, navigation) Створ came to mean putting two objects along one's line of right. Hence the second meaning - "alignment".
Thanks both!
