With respect to the Bible, I used its terminology - that is, an­gels, pil­lars of fi­re and so on - be­ca­use tho­se we­re words used by the an­ci­ents to des­c­ri­be phe­no­me­na in the terms un­der­s­tan­dab­le in the­ir day.
