Many birds fly south in autumn.
Some birds remain.
In winter it is very cold and food is scarce.
Without the help of people, birds can die.
But people took care of the birds.
People build feeders and put seeds there.
Such feeders hang in almost every yard.
My dad and I also feed the birds.
