Aleh, your version refers to a specific set of ghosts, something like Не все из этих приведений... can the Russian mean both? For instance, let's say I take you to a haunted house and tell you there are seven ghosts, but not all of them are dangerous. ¿Could I use Но не все приведения опасны.

I'm not sure if I got your question right, but I'll try to share my thoughts. Even though the russian version has a general meaning, it can also be used in your particular example. So, your version is better. If the original sentence had been constucted as ” не все ЭТИ приведения опасны" , my version would probably have been more appropriate.
Anyway, when it comes to using an article in English, I just go with you. ))
hahaha - good plan!
To simplify things: my English version refers to all the ghosts in the world, yours refers to some specific ghosts. I was just wondering if the Russian version can mean both these things.
In my opinion, it can. But, I'm not a linguist. I would ask Olga. ) Or someone else. Don't ask Yefim, though.))
Hahaha, don't worry – no danger of that!
Hey guys :)
You're right, it can mean both. Your version is totally accurate, Uly, though we would probably say something like "но не все из них опасны". But still your version would make total sense too.
Thank you, Olga! Great to know.
