Pavel, lovey-dovey has nothing to do with friendship (unless they're "special"friends). It's about the way two people interact with each other, especially in public. "Pavel and his new girlfriend were all lovey-dovey during dinner... so much so that they made everyone uncomfortable." That means that you were looking into each others eyes instead of talking to others, kissing constantly, whispering to each other... This is hardly behavior for friends.

Also, when you just copy words from a dictionary and paste it here you're basically blindly representing a language source that is often full of archaic, unidiomatic, outdated words and expressions. Why not decide on a couple of meanings that you believe in or that you've researched, enter them separately, and give it your personal touch by adding an sample sentence?
