обожать is too strong

обожать in russian doesn't always have to be strong. technically it is but we use it to describe something we like.
Обожаю жаренную рыбу и пюре. - means I like it or I love it but it's not like I can't live without.
OR
Обожаю когда ты рассказываешь истории. Means I like the way you tell stories. Nothing strong here.

As I said - technically it is strong but sometimes people can use it exaggerating the meaning. (as in example above). But ok, I will delete.
