Не за что!
I agree that collaboration would be more suited for this translation. There's a slight difference between collaboration and cooperation: (1) cooperation usually involves not showing resistance to something and going along with it peacefully. For instance, say a company adopted a new policy whereby every employee had to provide a copy of their birth certificate to the human resources office by a certain date if they were to continue working. If there were some resistance to this, some of the employees protested that it was unconstitutional, the company could publicly ask for everyone's cooperation. (2) collaboration is used more in the sense of working with a company on a new initiative, for example, like a program that benefits the community by having employees volunteer to raise money for the homeless every month. In that case, the company could choose to involve other companies or private citizens by inviting them to collaborate on this social initiative.
IMHO Grumbler's translation is the better, except with "collaborate" - We invite other companies to collaborate with us (on...)
No ideas? Here's a sample of an invitation to COLLABORATE:
Uly, is frequently used? When I was looking for translations I found it mostly on Russian sites
Is what frequently used?
This phrase "Invitation to collaborate"
Yes
But I'm not just talking about the phrase, I'm talking about the concept of inviting someone to collaborate versus cooperate.
I see, thank you!
