Фраза "Have u finished" или "Did u finished" переводиться " Ты закончил", а "Are u finished" нарушает грамматику языка, но можно писать/говорить "Are u done"

Ladies,
1. "Are you finished?" is a perfectly normal and grammatically correct question and means exactly the same as "Have you finished?", maybe with a slight difference in connotation, where "have" would be more polite than "are". But again, they mean absolutely the same.
2. If you ask someone "Did you finish (not finishED, btw)...?" you want to know if they managed to complete the whole thing (e.g. writing a test) rather than if they are done with it.
