Да, именно так. Можно сказать еще: "Вчера она вообще сделала вид..." Вовсе -- более книжное слово.

Aга! Interesting. Conversely ALL BUT can be used in any register. It has always intrigued me, because it looks like делала все кроме..., but it means "that's actually what she did."

Нет, не обязательно "делала все кроме".
Например:
Он каждый день обещал мне отдать долг, говорил -- завтра, завтра, но не отдавал. А вчера вообще заявил, чтобы я от него отстал с этим долгом, потому что денег у него нет и не будет.
