Просто "Put..." без "to"

Почему, ведь глагол в инфинитиве? Не написано же "положите"?

Исходя из того, что это рецепт салата, и по-русски что "положить", что "положите" - один фиг :) Просто автор постов не соблюдает стиль написания.

Хотя я посмотрела сейчас - соблюдает. Везде "нарезать", "налить", "добавить" :)

Ну да, это понятно, что по английски в рецепте будут говорить без "to", но я же не знала наверняка, а вдруг в оригинале было что-то вроде "You need to put..." =)) Короче, была мысль "to" не ставить, но передумала.

Вообще, положить/налить/нарезать/добавить, то есть "сделать" что-либо, это не инфинитив, и "to" здесь не нужно будет в любом случае. Потому что инфинитив это класть/резать/добавлять/наливать и т.д., то есть "делать" что-либо. "Сделать" это же совершенный вид глагола, в английском-то их нет.
