To be taken ill тоже хорошо, только "a little" в конце лучше поставить = I'm taken ill a little.

Actually the correct syntax is "to be taken a little ill"

Спасибо, вот и мне есть чему поучиться)

А если НЕМНОГО, разве это не SICK, Uly?

⁌ ULY ⁍added a comment 8 anos atrás

Можно и так и так: to be taken a little sick -or- ill

A TV teacher from Britain explained that it is about the period or intensity: sick if you consider it short-term and ill for longer periods. What do you think about it?

⁌ ULY ⁍added a comment 8 anos atrás

To be honest, most Americans don't use the word ill. Young people certainly
never.
