how tired I am of the constant need to invent new tyres of “-sexual”. I mean ever since the “metrosexual”, which was a pun on “homosexual”, they have nothing to do with actual “sex”. this form just became another irritating cliche.

You've forgotten "retro-sexual" which is the same as "lumber-sexual" and was a fad in 2011.
