There's no need for the perfect in any of these translations.
Olga, "there's no need for something" - could I say:
I've been feeling bad lately. I haven't seen him lately. Lately I feel like I don't know you anymore. (Recently I feel like I don't know you нельзя)
I recently saw him at the theater. She's a recently divorced mom. (lately divorced нельзя).
Jane, these two words are used in absolutely different contexts and they are not interchangeable.
Uly, dear, I'm so glad you're back. "Перфект в этих переводах ни к чему" is absolutely correct.
Thank you, sweetie, it's good to be back now that there are notifications!
Oh yes! 😊
Did you see this one?
Maybe he can use a dash like in Russian: This - hard for me... 🤔
