note (en-en)

Some english-spanish misleading word!

Falsos amigos!

Cuidado!=)

“Estar embarazado” is Spanish is not the same than “be embarrassed” in English!

My favorite mistake actually=)

Attention! “Estoy embarazado/a” meens “to be pregnant” and not “to feel shy” in Spanish language! I've just heard a lot this expression from no native Spanish speakers and the most funny when you hear it from the male!=)

Better use the expression "darse corte" if you want to tell that you are embarrassed. For example: "Me da corte hablar ingles"

Y yo siempre me equivoque con "DESIERTO" en castellano. Pienso que es le mismo que “Dessert” en ingles. Pero no!
“Desierto” (spanish) = desert (ingles)
Dessert (ingles) = postre (spanish)

Guys! The worst is to mix Spanish “constipación” what means “nasal cold” and English word “constipation”. Sounds similar but... you know... Be careful! :-)
