Более логичным является порядок от прошлого к настоящему или наоборот, но никак не вперемешку, это даже по-русски тяжело воспринимается. Если благоразумно поменять местами, то так получается:
Today I haven't remembered what i had tried to memorise yesterday because hurrying at that time
Yesterday I was so much in a hurry that today I couldn't even remember what was it that I was trying not to forget yesterday.
