Building bridges?
Alexander Machtakovadded a note 8 years ago
Mike and Liz went through a devorce five years ago. Yesterday he called her up to say that he was deeply sorry for hurting her in the past. Liz replied that it was... something you can see in the picture. What did she say? I'm sure it was an idiom.

Elena, that's a good one, and fits the situation. No one seems to be building anything in the picture though :-) You should try again.
It`s gotta be "to burn one`s (the) bridges (boats)" . Meaning that they were cutting the ways for retreat.
Sorry, Сергей, I bet you anything you'd see some fire in the picture if I meant that idiom ;-) But I like yours!
Maybe You can`t step into the same river twice?
He made a hole in her soul?:)
Wow, what a remarkable list of idioms we are getting here! Tatiana, I have to say I would place someone trying to step into the river in that image. This puzzle remains unsolved.
Диана, I guess he did, but I'm not sure I could make it so complicated. All the key words are in the picture.
Water under the bridge?
Elena, congratulations! You've cracked this one. Great job! She said it was water under the bridge, meaning that belonged to the past and wasn't important or troubling any more.
Thank you, Alexander, for your brainteasers!
The pleasure is all mine, Elena! Thank you!
I think it's: "water passed under the bridge"
