Hello people! I know one more interesting Russion drinking-tradition.
When you're going to drink for the love (traditionally it's the third toast), you should hold the glass in your left hand and drink without clinking.
It's better to stand while drinking, otherwise LOVE won't notice you, so you may stay single for the long time =(((

“Trust me, you can dance” – Vodka
It’s the weekend, which means it’s time for a little fun!
For us Americans, drinking is pretty straightforward. However, when I came to Moscow I was introduced to Russian alcohol etiquette.
Just as in other European countries, Russia has countless traditions and superstitions, but today I’d like to share with you a few popular Russian traditions centered around alcohol.
1. One should not put a glass with alcohol back on the table. This refers to shot-type strong alcohol which you are supposed to drink at once. Wine, cocktails and beer are meant to be sipped, so they do not fall under this rule.
2. Traditionally alcohol is poured out to all the people present, though they are not required to drink.
3. One should not make a long interruption between the first and second shots.
4. The latecomer must drink a full glass. (this is referred to as штрафной or “penality”)
5. Filling a glass being held in the air is frowned upon.
6. It is considered bad luck to make a toast with an empty glass.
7. It is considered bad luck to put an empty bottle back on the table when it’s finished.
And the list goes on!
I can honestly say that I have adopted all of these rules of etiquette and when I go home I always make sure my family sticks to the rules. I especially love the Russian tradition of making long, meaningful and all-encompassing toasts - which can go on for the entire night!
Can you think of any other interesting rules of Russian alcohol etiquette? Does your culture have some type of tradition when it comes to drinking alcohol? Let me know below!

Natalia,
I will try that. Third toast, left hand, no clinking and standing. You never know.Perhaps is a Russian tradition what is needed down here. :-)
Sir Henry,
what is "That Ná" (it is the closest/similar thing I heard) in the video. :-)... The guy uses that "sound" and points out (the glass?).
"That Na"? Maybe "Do Dna"? (pronounce "dadna")
Firstly, Dna is not the deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA)
"Dno" means a bottom of the glass.
Pyey do dna! Means to drink till the bottom!
How Brandon says, failure to comply with this law is a great insult for toast-man.
Also you can heard "na zdorovye" or "budyte zdorovy".
This means: Be healthy!
And the more people drink vodka for someone, the healthier a person is, for which you'll drink.
Да, согласен, это сложно понять, как можно пить столько водки и при этом желать друг другу здоровья..
обязательный тост за родителей
Thank you, Sir Henry.
Pyey do dna!!! Beber hasta el fondo!
:-)
P.S. I have learned something today. :-)
You know, I've never been particularly interested in weed. But constant stress led me to study the information on the site
