How to translate? (en-ru)
1)в городе было жарко, и мы решили поехать за город 2) на вокзале было много народу 3) люди стояли на платформе и ждали поезд
Example

1) правильно, но я бы употребил to the countryside
2) оборот there are/were: THERE WERE many people at the railway station (предлог in возможен, но я бы все же употребил классическое at)
3) the people stood ON the platform and waited FOR the train
