You don't have to spell it out for me.. I'm sort of in the know..
just can't find it in any of the dictionaries.. it means to reject smb forcefully..
So if you don’t need it spelled out and you’re so “in the know,” why post it for translation?
Or perhaps you don’t realize how arrogant (and marginally rude) it sounds to say “you don’t have to spell it out for me - I’m in the know” to someone who has just tried to help you?
