Море в Феодосии невероятное. Когда смотришь на него, теряется ощущение времени и пространства.

My English lessons are becoming more interesting with your help.
А можно использовать так- The sea AT Theodosia is unbelievable. Looking out over it, you lose all notion of time and space. ? У Феодосии, рядом с ней.
Просто off of я вообще не встречала)
Вы только что встретили 😉
Так нельзя, у меня ещё не такой уровень.
Святая Дева Мария, я больше так не буду, я сама виновата.)
😂
Tatiana, INCONCEIVABLE has a negative context - it’s between unbelievable and unbearable.
Улий! Russian geographical names are rendered into English by transliteration, it means a letter by a letter according to strict rules. There are some exclusions, but Feodosiya isn't that case. It is easily checked with a help of a dictionary.
My question.
The sea off Feodosiya... Море напротив Феодосии (дословно).
Море у Феодосии (литературно).
The sea off of Feodosiya... Море на некотором расстоянии от Феодосии (дословно).
Море у Феодосии (литературно).
Улий!
Я согласна с Вашим замечанием.
“Feodosia, also called Theodosia, is a port and resort, a town of regional significance in Crimea on the Black Sea coast. Feodosia serves as the administrative center of Feodosia Municipality, one of the regions into which Crimea is divided. During much of its history the city was known as Caffa or Kaffa.” Wikipedia
We usually use Theodosia here in the States.
I see, it is the Ukrainian version.
