For this modification the output emission undergoes full internal reflection from the inclined output facets 12, changes its direction and goes out through the sapphire substrate 2 transparent for emission by direct incidence upon it.

Для этой модификации выходное излучение испытывает полное внутреннее отражение от наклонных выводных граней 12, меняет направление и выводится через прозрачную для излучения сапфировую подложку 2 при прямом падении на неё.
