Not giving a shit: Им плевать/начхать/нас*ать/пос*ать/пое*ать на (этот) проект. Плевать/чихать/с*ать они хотели на (этот) проект/ е*ать они хотели (этот) проект. Они забили на (этот) проект. По моему скромному мнению, "забили" может употреблятся в обоих случаях.☺
