Uly, I’ve finally figured out how I can be useful here. I can help with Russian and with what I really know in English and learn all other things that I don’t know or I’m not sure about from you. I’ve finally understood there’s no need in trying to translate what I don’t know. We all here (and I) have you to help us with what we don’t know. Thank you for your help. And it’s such an amazing day for me today because I’ve understood the most important thing for me about this community.
With respect and gratitude deep from my heart, Anna. )
Anna, thank you for expressing what I’ve always believed… that everyone should ideally translate into their own native language so that there are no guesses or misinformation. Of course, sometimes there are things that we fully understand and can translate into our target language, but we have to be open to correction and responsible enough to remove the offending translation, or at the very least correct it. That’s why it’s better to post translations in the comments first and then post it once it’s been checked. Unfortunately, that’s not the way it usually goes. Congratulations on being smart and sensible enough to figure that out!
Unfortunately, I’m the only English-speaking native on here, so I sound like a total ass saying what I just said, but it is what it is.
Oh, that’s alright. I totally agree with you about comments. ) Now, that I’ve read it three times. ))
hahahahaha
То, что нельзя делать как ты: штамповать по переводу, не зная о чем речь!
Valery, how it should work. )
The words you quoted are the ending words. If you really want to know, read my comment again.
Anna, ignore him. He’s a little boy in a sandbox here.
Stop stirring up shit, Valery
Ok, Uly.
I wanted to add, that I’ve understood how big is the responsibility of those who translate and that was the thing that stroke me just now.
*struck
And the responsibility is made more stressful when I have to convince someone that their translation doesn’t work and hope that they change it or delete it.
I see.
