This is a reference to sound of something delicious frying in a pan (probably bacon) and the irresistible allure it creates. When you wake up in the morning and hear the sizzle of bacon frying, your mouth starts watering in anticipation of your first bite. Color can create that same allure. You’re walking down the street and a block away, you see a collection of shoes in a beautiful color that draws you into the store to try them on.
color is the sizzle that drives the sale of virtually every consumer product in the world

В словаре нашёл по sizzle вот такой вариант:
informal a state or quality of great excitement or passion
Интересно, как правильно перевести этот sizzle, явно не шипение, жара и так далее.
Речь в тексте про влияние цвета на жизнь человека.

Интересует только вариант слова sizzle конечно, так как остальное все элементарно.
Obviously you didn’t know what was meant by SIZZLE here, so I thought I’d explain it so that somebody can give you some options. You’re welcome!
Thanks Uly. I understand what You mean. But I must find something bearable in Russian lang. :)
And with my explanation, perhaps now you’ll find it.
очарование, обаяние
May be some sort of: "возбуждение"
"Цвет это возбуждение чувств..." Вот где то так
возбуждение is the feeling that color provokes in the buyer, but this is about the property that color possesses that causes that feeling - allure, charm.
To paraphrase: color is that element of charm/temptation/allure that draws people to buy almost everything that’s bought in the world.
May be I am wrong but I feel more appropriate is "взбуждение" Sizzle возбуждает определённые чувства. Тоже и с цветом.
*Maybe
I can’t judge the Russian, I can only explain what this means in English. They’re comparing COLOR to the irresistible sound of bacon frying in a pan. Maybe a Russian native can work with you to come up with a good translation. Again, I just wanted to explain the psychology behind it.
Well put, Elena!
😀
Цвет - это стимул, который активизирует продажи... (как вариант)
👍🏼
I'm not in the position to judge the English, but цвет - это стимул, КОТОРЫЙ СПОСОБЕН... would read much better to me, since not every color you see will actually draw you into the store.
Tatiana, I have to disagree. I believe the English is talking about color as a property, and not specifically to different hues.
Got it! Thanks))
