Хотелось бы чтобы слова "дурацкий" , "чушь" и "осточертели" звучали как можно более неформально и сленгово.
Может, даже ненормативная лексика.

I used the verb "warn against" since I couldn't find a proper phrasal example with "frighten", "scare", or "intimidate."
