Не за что)) Кстати, "did it to spite" неправильно. Правильно будет OUT OF SPITE, но это означает "назло".

Uly, why did you change "whatever" to "no matter"? To me, both sound similar in this context.

That fact that it’s сделал and not делал indicates that he did one thing, and in that context “no matter“ sounds more natural to me.
