Dave, these translations are correct, but all of them have to do with agriculture, whereas the word in question can have completely different meaning referring to construction or renovation.
Priming/priming stain/ground color and so on.
When it comes to separate words, you better check dictionaries, which give a variety of meanings from different fields.

I meant that sometimes it's really hard to cover all the meanings of a word. That's why i'd advise you either to give more context or look them up in dictionaries. Phrases and sentences are quite another pair of shoes.😉
