Oh, your Russian is quite ok. The dialogue with Gumbler itself wasn't clear. Grumbler noted that Watch - наручные часы, and I said that it should be a wristwatch implying that it could hardly be a wall clock, just because it's hard to imagine that there were several clocks in the room, and someone was asking about a particular clock to find out whose it was. So, I though that if someone asked about the owner, it should be of a wristwatch found on the floor or elsewhere. A watch lost, a watch found - who is the owner? That was a hidden message, nothing deliberate, just unclear. Sorry for causing that mix-up, Uly😟
