The expression "bornE by the earth" doesn't mean "born of the earth," which is the true translation of this post. BORNE is the past participle of BEAR and it's most commonly seen in the expression "not worthy of being borne by the earth" said of someone who is not fit to live on this planet. BEAR means to support, in this expression. Something that is brought into being by nature is said to be "born OF the earth."
