What's the context?

there is no context. just a sentence for translation: Принять это предложение.

It was in the test. I answered:" to take the proposition" and it was counted as a wrong one and changed to the "to accept the proposal"

I wouldn't use "take". To "accept the proposition" sounds more natural.
